Measuring Hat Size
Because babies and children come in all shapes and sizes and their heads grow rapidly in the first couple of years, our sizing chart is meant to be a guideline only.
Sizing should be adjusted accordingly if your child is smaller or larger than average.
Using flexible tape measure, one made of cloth or plastic, measure the head. Start at the middle of the forehead, measure all around the head, just above the eyebrows and covering the tops of the ears with hair out.
You can also use some string and then measure the strong with a ruler. (Make sure the string isn't stretchy!)
Read the measurement and compare with the size chart below.
N.B- The beanies with fold up brims can be varied by folding the brim up or down.

Guess by Age
If you're not within measuring distance of the head you're trying to fit a hat to, and you can't delegate the measurement task over the phone/internet try this age guide to our sizes.
Use your judgement in deciding where in these age ranges your kids are.
Bigger kids need bigger hats, and kids' heads get bigger as they grow.
